Kate Davies, Good Place Comms

Kate Davies is a social change strategist with experience working across multiple geographies, audiences and issue areas. She has built research-informed strategies to shift norms in support of vaccine uptake, peacebuilding, gender equality, climate change mitigation and poverty alleviation, as well as for policy and financing outcomes. Kate has a background in research methods and statistics, strategy delivery, capacity building, and in measurement, learning and evaluation (MLE). She has held senior roles at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, The Stabilisation Network and YouGov. She holds a BA in International Relations and an MSc in Applied Social Psychology.

Joseph Walton, University of Sussex

Joseph Walton is Principal Research Fellow at the Sussex Digital Humanities Lab, and has a background in the arts and humanities and public engagement through participatory arts practice. Jo’s other co-authored publications include Communicating Climate Risk: A Toolkit (2024), and The Cloud and the Climate: Navigating AI-Powered Futures (2025). With Polina Levontin and Phoenix Alexander he edits the journal Vector, and with Nathalie Huegler he is co-founder of Climate Acuity, exploring the intersection of digital transformation, serious play, speculative fiction, change management, and futures and foresight.
